Anna Pujol-Mazzini is an investigative journalist, audio producer, fact-checker and fixer based in Paris, France. She is a former international correspondent for Reuters, AFP and The Daily Telegraph in Europe and Africa and regularly works as a fixer and local producer for international news and documentary teams. She is an expert on gender, LGBTQIA+ rights and the environment and specialises in trauma-informed reporting and handling sensitive interviews and source materials.
Her work has been published by The Washington Post, Reuters, TIME Magazine, National Geographic, The Guardian and The Daily Telegraph, among others.
For a decade, she has been covering women's rights and sexual and gender minorities, as well as the environment. She has published several investigations on rape as a weapon of war, including in Mali and Ethiopia, and is trained to interview survivors of trauma, in particular victims of sexual violence.
She speaks French, Italian and Spanish fluently.
She regularly works as a fact-checker for podcasts, documentaries and books, notably for Wondery Media and Critical Frequency.
