I am a narrative journalist, investigator, audio producer and fact-checker based in Paris, France.

My work has been published by The Washington Post, Reuters, TIME Magazine, National Geographic, The Guardian, The Daily Telegraph and many others. It has been republished by The New York Times, The Independent, The Sydney Morning Herald, The World Economic Forum, The Star Malaysia and The East African.

I have worked as a correspondent and editor for AFP and Reuters in West Africa and covered France and Europe for The Daily Telegraph. I have uncovered possible war crimes by the French army in Mali, conducted one of the first investigations of rape as a weapon of war in Ethiopia and tracked down terror suspects in Guinea-Bissau.

The goal of my work is to foster empathy through storytelling. I am trained to interview trauma survivors, especially survivors of sexual violence, with care and understanding and will always put the wellbeing of my sources first.

I have published features in French, my mother tongue, for Le Monde and Jeune Afrique. I have also worked in Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and, although very briefly, in Wolof, Senegal’s most widely spoken language.

I fact-check narrative non-fiction podcasts and have worked with Wondery Media and Critical Frequency.

When I am not at my desk, I am looking for new spots to hike or cycle in France, meticulously tracking new vegan food offerings and volunteering with women’s rights organisations.
